Motorguide Xi5 SW is designed to be reliable every day and durable for many years. Thanks to wireless communication, the angler can maneuver and control the engine from any position in the boat.
The electronics are fully enclosed and protected against dust and ingress of water. there is also a protection circuit that prevents anything from breaking if the propeller were to catch on something. The rig is made of a flexible composite that allows it to bend if you run into an obstacle. The mounting bracket is equipped with an automatic switch so that the motor is switched off when it is folded up.
Keep in mind that unlike the freshwater model, the saltwater model does not come with a foot pedal, but with their wireless control.
