The RAM Hi-Torq™ Wrench is designed for use with the knob found on "D" arms. The key matches the shape of the knob found on the side of the "D" arms and allows you to tighten the arm for an extra good grip. This wrench was originally developed for the military when RAM mounts were used in cold weather, and the knob could not be tightened by hand.
