Motor guide Xi3 is a front-mounted electric motor similar to the Xi5 with a better price and perhaps the market's most affordable motor. The difference to the Xi5 is an easier folding up, 3-bladed propeller and no shutdown when you pick up the engine. Foot pedal is not included in the package but can of course be purchased separately.

Motor guide Xi3 always comes with Pinpoint GPS (5 updates per second) and a wireless hand control. Motorguide Xi5 has a very precise anchoring function where a push of a button keeps the boat at the same GPS position, thanks to its PinPoint GPS which makes 5 updates per second. Then, with a function called the JOG function, you can move 5 feet (approx. 1.5m) in any direction.

The Heading Lock function works with a push on the hand control, which means that the motor keeps a specific course, very smoothly when trolling or drift fishing. This together with the Cruise Control function allows you to stay on a course and also set a specific speed. With the hand control, you can also record 8 routes, save 8 anchor positions or different speeds.
